Zach Peaslee is trumpet player and educator based in Ohio and Northern West Virginia. Zach holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from West Virginia University and is currently working towards a Master’s Degree in Trumpet Performance from Ohio University. Zach served as the graduate assistant for OU’s trumpet studio for two years where he taught undergraduate trumpet lessons and the brass methods course for music education majors. He was also a member of OhioBrass, the in-residence faculty brass quintet at Ohio University. Zach has performed as a substitute musician with the Ohio Valley Symphony. In addition, Zach played in the pit orchestra with West Virginia Public Theatre for their 2016 summer season.

Zach has taught in a variety of instructional settings. He has experience teaching private lessons to beginners and advanced students. He has taught band, orchestra, and general music in public school settings. For several years, he taught private brass lessons with the Community Music Program at West Virginia University.
